Horn - Overview: Overview

The horn is activated by pressing the driver airbag into the steering wheel or when the BCM needs to activate the horn for another feature, such as the perimeter alarm, RKE panic feature or when programming the tire pressure sensors to the BCM. The BCM controls horn output by energizing the horn relay and sounding the horn.
