Brake Shift Interlock Actuator: Removal

- Remove the selector lever mechanism. Refer to: Selector Lever Mechanism .
- Remove the brake shift interlock actuator screw.
- Gently pry the clip out and remove the brake shift interlock actuator from the selector lever mechanism.
- Remove the park position switch and the brake shift interlock actuator as an assembly.
- Press the park position switch spring loaded pin.
- While pressing in on the spring loaded pin, rotate the park position switch clockwise and remove it and the brake shift interlock actuator from the selector lever mechanism.
