Rear Seat LH - Crew Cab: Removal

  1. Remove the RH seat. Refer to: Rear Seat RH - Crew Cab .
  2. Remove the seat front bolts.

    1. Using the seat cushion latch handle, raise the seat cushion.
    2. Remove the bolts.

      Torque: 35 lb.ft (47 Nm)

    Vehicles with inflatable seatbelts 

  3. Remove the lower anchor bolt cover.

  4. Remove the anchor bolt and separate the upper seatbelt from the lower seatbelt.

    Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)

    Vehicles without inflatable seatbelts 

  5. Remove the bolt and position the seatbelt aside.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

    All vehicles 

  6. NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.
    NOTE: During installation the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

    Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.

    1. Raise the seat cushion.
    2. Release the backrest latch.
    3. Fold the backrest down.

  7. If equipped. Remove the subwoofer.

    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.

      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

    3. Remove the nuts.

      Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  8. Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector and remove the seat rear bolts.

    Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)

  9. Remove the seat.

    1. Route the center seatbelt through the cushion opening.
    2. Remove the seat.
