DTC P20E8 (DCU) - REDUCTANT Pressure Too Low

P20E8 (DCU) - REDUCTANT PRESSURE TOO LOW

Description:  The reductant dosage control module monitors reductant pressure as the system primes for injection. This DTC sets if the system pressure does not exceed 350 kPa (51 psi) within 45 seconds after the reductant pump starts.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged reductant pump
  • Damaged reductant purge valve
  • Damaged reductant pressure line
  • Damaged reductant injector
  • Damaged reductant pressure sensor
Diagnostic Aids:  The presence of this DTC may indicate the vehicle is operating in derate mode and may experience a loss of power. After repair, the vehicle may still display a system warning message. Drive the vehicle until the system warning message has cleared from the instrument panel cluster (IPC) message center.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
