DTC P1184 - Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Out Of Self-Test Range

P1184 - ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE SENSOR OUT OF SELF-TEST RANGE

Description:	This DTC sets when the engine oil temperature (EOT) sensor signal is out of self-test range.
Possible Causes:	EOT circuit open EOT circuit short to ground EOT circuit short to voltage Damaged EOT sensor Damaged harness Damaged harness connector
Diagnostic Aids:	The engine should be at operating temperature before carrying out the self-test.
Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
