DTC P0630 - VIN Not Programmed Or Incompatible - ECM/Pcm

P0630 - VIN NOT PROGRAMMED OR INCOMPATIBLE - ECM/PCM

Description:  This DTC sets when the PCM does not receive a valid vehicle identification number (VIN) during reprogramming.
Possible Causes: 
  • Vehicle configuration information has been improperly configured.
Diagnostic Aids:  Reprogram the VIN. Refer to FLASH ELECTRICALLY ERASABLE PROGRAMMABLE READ ONLY MEMORY (EEPROM) , Programming The VID Block For A Replacement PCM, to reprogram the PCM.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
