DTC P0115 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit

P0115 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT

Description:	This DTC sets when the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor signal falls below or exceeds the calibrated threshold at any time during the key ON, engine running (KOER) self-test.
Possible Causes:	Engine not operating long enough prior to carrying out the KOER self-test Low engine coolant level Damaged thermostat Damaged ECT sensor Damaged PCM
Diagnostic Aids:	Make sure the intake air and engine coolant temperatures are similar when the engine is cold. Make sure the ECT sensor and the actual engine operating temperatures are the same.
