DTC P0048 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Control A Circuit High

P0048 - TURBOCHARGER/SUPERCHARGER BOOST CONTROL A CIRCUIT HIGH

Description:	This DTC sets when the VGTVCH circuit voltage or the VGTVCL circuit voltage is greater than a calibrated limit for greater than a calibrated amount of time.
Possible Causes:	VGTVCH circuit short to voltage VGTVCH circuit open VGTVCL circuit short to voltage VGTVCL circuit open Damaged variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) actuator
Diagnostic Aids:	This DTC can be set due to a turbocharger actuator concern, a wiring harness concern, or an incorrect connection to the turbocharger actuator.
Application	Key On Engine Off	Key On Engine Running	Continuous Memory
