Trailer Hitch - Fifth Wheel: Removal

Remove the pickup bed, if equipped. Refer to: Pickup Bed .
Remove the hitch-to-inner bracket bolts.
Torque: 173 lb.ft (235 Nm)

Remove the hitch-to-outer bracket bolts.
Torque: 111 lb.ft (150 Nm)

Remove the hitch assembly.

NOTE: The inner bracket is welded to the frame assembly and is not serviceable.

Remove the outer bracket bolts.

Torque: 184 lb.ft (250 Nm)
