Turbocharger Inlet Pipe RH: Removal

NOTE:
Exhaust nuts are of a torque prevailing design. Use only new nuts with the same part number as the original. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of correct retention of exhaust components.
NOTE:
Clean all exhaust connections before reassembly.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .

NOTE: Note the position of the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp for installation.
Remove and discard the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp.

- Remove the EGT sensor flare nut from the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Remove the EP sensor flare nut from the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Remove the nut.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: Do not bend or twist the turbocharger inlet pipes or damage to the bellows on the turbocharger inlet pipes may occur.
Remove and discard the RH turbocharger inlet pipe nuts and remove the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Remove and discard the RH turbocharger inlet pipe gasket.
