Turbocharger Inlet Pipe RH: Installation

- Install a new gasket on the RH exhaust manifold flange.

NOTE: Note the position of the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp from disassembly.
Install a new RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe. Disengage the clamp T-bolt.

NOTE: Do not bend or twist the turbocharger inlet pipes or damage to the bellows on the turbocharger inlet pipes may occur.NOTE: Do not tighten the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp at this time.NOTE: Do not tighten the RH turbocharger inlet pipe nuts at this time.
Install the RH turbocharger inlet pipe and loosely position the RH turbocharger inlet pipe over both sealing flanges. Install the new RH turbocharger inlet pipe nuts hand tight.

NOTE: Do not tighten the EGT or the EP sensor at this time.
- Install the EGT sensor flare nut on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe hand tight.
- Install the EP sensor flare nut on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe hand tight.
- Install the nut.
- Tighten the RH turbocharger inlet pipe nuts.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

NOTE: Note the position of the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp from disassembly.
Position the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp over the RH turbocharger inlet pipe and the turbocharger sealing flanges, then engage the RH turbocharger inlet pipe clamp T-bolt.
Torque: 159 lb.in (18 Nm)

- Tighten the EGT sensor flare nut on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
- Tighten the EP sensor flare nut on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
- Install the nut.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Tighten the EGT sensor flare nut on the RH turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Install the upper intake manifold. Refer to: Upper Intake Manifold .
- Check the exhaust system for leaks.
