Differential Fluid Level Check

Check
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. REFER to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- If draining is needed.
- Clean the differential fluid drain plug.
- Remove the differential fluid drain plug.
Torque: 66 lb.ft (90 Nm)

- Clean the differential fluid fill plug.
- Remove the differential fluid fill plug.
- Check and top off the differential with clean differential gear lubricant. The differential gear lubricant level should be level with the fluid level fill plug opening. REFER to: Specifications .
- Install the differential fluid fill plug.
Torque: 25 lb.ft (34 Nm)
