Front Seatbelt Retractor and Pretensioner - Crew Cab: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.
  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this article, refer to Health And Safety Precautions . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    Refer to: Pyrotechnic Device Health and Safety Precautions .

  2. Depower the SRS. Refer to: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering .
  3. Remove the B-pillar lower trim panel. Refer to: B-Pillar Trim Panel - Crew Cab .
  4. Remove the D-ring cover.

  5. Remove the bolt and position the seatbelt aside.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

  6. Disconnect the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner electrical connectors.

  7. Remove the bolts and the front seatbelt retractor and pretensioner.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
