Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor - Crew Cab Super Cab: Removal

Super Cab 

  1. NOTE: During installation, the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

    Lower the LH backrest.

    1. Pull the backrest release strap and release the latch from the striker.
    2. Lower the backrest.

    Crew Cab 

  2. NOTE: The seat backrest latch is only accessible when the seat cushion is raised.
    NOTE: During installation, the striker should be in its lowest position for the latch to engage.

    Fold the LH rear seat backrest down.

    1. Raise the seat cushion.
    2. Release the seat latch.
    3. Fold the seat backrest down.

    Super Cab and Crew Cab 

  3. Pull the backrest release strap and fold the RH rear seat backrest down.

  4. Remove the pin-type retainer and position the load space trim panel aside.

  5. NOTE: The load space trim panel has been removed for clarity.

    Remove the bolt(s) and the child safety seat tether anchor(s).

    Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
