Electric Coolant Pump: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
Remove the bolts and the underbody shield.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Using a general tool, clamp both coolant hoses.
  Use the General Equipment: Locking Pliers
3. Release the hose clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.
  Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
4. Remove the retaining nuts and the electric coolant pump.
  Torque
  
  : 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
