Coolant Pump: Removal
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the RH headlamp assembly. Refer to: Headlamp Assembly .
- Release the degas bottle support tabs and position the degas bottle aside.
- Remove the engine mount bolts.
- Using a floor jack and wooden block, support and raise the engine.

- Remove the bolt and the accessory drive belt cover.
- Loosen the coolant pump pulley bolts. Loosen: 2 turn(s)

WARNING: The tensioner is under spring tension. Be careful when handling the tensioner. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury.NOTE: Position the accessory drive belt so no coolant will drip on the belt, or the belt may be contaminated.
- Using a suitable tool, retract the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Position aside the accessory drive belt.
- Release the accessory drive belt tensioner.
- Remove the bolts and the coolant pump pulley.
- Remove the bolts and the coolant pump.
- Discard the O-ring seal.
