Block Heater: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to: Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converter Assembly .

NOTE: Note the position of the component before removal.NOTE: Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted before removal.
Disconnect the block heater electrical connector and remove the block heater.
Torque
: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
