Pinpoint Test BS: U053B:56

  1. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 
    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    IPC U053B:56 Invalid Data Received From Image Processing Module A: Invalid/Incompatible Configuration Sets in the IPC when the IPC receives invalid network data from the IPMA through the GWM due to a calibration concern.

    Possible Sources 

    • IPC

  2. BS1 CHECK VEHICLE HISTORY FOR RECENT SERVICE ACTIONS

    • Check the vehicle history for any recent service actions related to the IPMA.

    Have any service actions been performed? 

    Yes  REPEAT the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.
    No  GO to  BS2

  3. BS2 RECONFIGURE THE MODULE

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the PMI as directed by the diagnostic scan tool.

    • Verify the adaptive cruise control system.

    Is the adaptive cruise control system functioning correctly? 

    Yes  The concern may have been caused by incomplete or incorrect PMI procedure.
    No  INSTALL a new IPMA. REFER to LANE KEEPING SYSTEM .
