Front Halfshaft LH - Attach To The Transmission

NOTE: Make sure that a new component is installed.
Install a new halfshaft retaining circlip.
- Rotate the steering wheel fully to the RH side.

NOTE: Make sure that the strut is not moved more than necessary to prevent damage to top mount.NOTE: The inner constant velocity (CV) joint must not be bent more than 18 deg..NOTE: The outer constant velocity (CV) joint must not be bent more than 45 deg..NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the seal.NOTE: Do not fully install the shaft at this time
Using seal protector, insert the halfshaft splines through the seal protector. Remove the seal protector before completely installing the halfshaft.

NOTE: Insert shaft until circlip is fully seated. When checking if circlip is seated do not pull on the outer CV joint or damage can result.NOTE: Make sure that the component is correctly installed.
Remove the seal protector before completely installing the LH halfshaft.

NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.
Insert the lower ball joint into the wheel knuckle and install the lower ball joint bolt and nut.
Torque: 61 lb.ft (83 Nm)
- Install the flexible brake hose bolt.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
