Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

With the ignition ON, the CCM sends messages to the IPMA over a private CAN. 

The IPMA then sends these messages to the ABS module over the HS-CAN 2. If the ABS module does not receive these messages within a certain time frame, the ABS module sets a DTC. For information on the messages sent to the ABS module by the CCM, refer to the Network Message Chart in Description and Operation of the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Stability Control article.

DTC Description Fault Trigger Conditions
U2107:68 Collision Mitigation By Braking: Event Information Sets when the ABS module detects the vehicle deceleration is implausibly high when compared to the vehicle deceleration requested by the CCM. This is most likely caused by an abrupt stop of the vehicle due to a collision, an extreme driving situation, a mechanical or electrical failure of the cruise control system or an internal failure of the ABS module.
