Second Row Single Seat: Removal
WARNING:
The following procedure describes critical repair steps required for correct seat component installation. Follow all notes and steps carefully. Do not place any objects between the seat components and the body of the vehicle, nor any objects within a joint internal to the seat structure. Failure to follow step instructions may result in incorrect operation of the seat components and increases the risk of serious personal injury.
NOTE:

Short wheelbase
- Remove the single seat.
- Tilt the seat forward.
- Push down on the locking pins to release the seat base floor latch.
- Remove the seat.
Long wheelbase
- Release the clips and remove the gas strut finish cover.

NOTE: Single seat with bolt fasteners shown in illustration, single seat with nut fasteners similar.
Remove the seat fasteners.
- Remove the seat fastener covers.
- Remove the seat fasteners.
Torque
: 33 lb.ft (45 Nm)
- Pull the strap and lock the seat backrest in the fold-flat position.

NOTE: The seat must be locked in the fold-flat position to remove the seat.
Pull the large strap, move the seat forward to the lowered position and remove the single seat.
