Active Grille Shutter: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
Release the clips and remove the bottom air deflector.

On both sides Remove the pin-type retainers and position aside the radiator air deflector.

Remove the pin-type retainers and position aside the radiator air deflector.
Torque

: 10 lb.in (1.1 Nm)

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the pin type retainers and position aside the wiring harness.

Remove the fasteners and the CCM bracket.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Disconnect the active grille shutter electrical connector.

Remove the bolts and the connecting link.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

Rotate the stow knobs from the LOCK position to the ASSEMBLE position and position the active grille shutter forward.

On both sides. Release the retaining tab and position the active grille shutter forward.

On both sides. Rotate the stow knobs from the ASSEMBLE position to the SHIP position and remove the active grille shutter assembly.
