Liftgate Ajar Switch

The liftgate ajar switch is a single pole switch (integrated into the liftgate latch) that is closed when the liftgate is closed. When the liftgate is opened, the liftgate ajar switch opens to indicate an open liftgate. The primary function of the liftgate ajar switch is used for the courtesy lamps system.
