Liftgate Latch: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to: LIFTGATE TRIM PANEL .
  2. Remove the bolts and position aside the liftgate latch.

    Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

  3. Remove the liftgate latch.

    • Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connector.

    • Remove the liftgate latch.
