Steering Column Multifunction Switch LH: Removal

  1. Position the steering column in the full forward/down position.

  2. Rotate the steering wheel and release the retainers. Use the General Equipment: Flat Headed Screw Driver

  3. Slide the upper steering column shroud forward and remove.

  4. Remove the retainers and the lower steering column shroud.

    Vehicles with lane departure warning 

  5. NOTE: Make sure that the component terminals are not bent or damaged.

    Remove the retainers and the LH steering column multifunction switch

  6. NOTE: Make sure that the component terminals are not bent or damaged.

    1. Remove the retainers.
    2. Release the tabs and the LH steering column multifunction switch.
