Oil Cooler: Installation

Mach 1 

1. Install the oil cooler and the fasteners.

   Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

2. Connect the oil cooler tubes and install the retaining clips.

3. 1. Install the air duct and the pin type retainer.
   2. Install the bracket and the fasteners.

      Torque: Bracket-to-cooler bolts: 97 lb.in (11 Nm) Bracket-to-frame bolt: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

4. Position the shield and install the retainers.

5. 1. Position the underbody shield and install the pin type retainer.
   2. Install the bolts.

8. Install the LH front wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
9. Inspect and adjust the engine oil level. Refer to: Specifications .

   GT 

10. Install the oil cooler and the retainer.

    Torque: 43 lb.ft (58 Nm)

11. • Connect the coolant hoses.
    • Remove the hose locking pliers. Use the General Equipment: Locking Pliers

12. NOTE: Do not lubricate the O-ring seal.

    Install a new oil filter.

    Torque: Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) | Stage 2: 180°

13. Install the subframe bracket and underbody shield assembly and the bolts.

    Torque: Bracket bolts: 46 lb.ft (63 Nm) Underbody shield bolt: 18 lb.in (2 Nm)

14. Install the underbody shield and the fasteners.

15. Inspect and adjust the coolant level in the degas bottle Refer to: Specifications .
16. Inspect and adjust the engine oil level. Refer to: Specifications .
