Parking Brake Cable RH - Vehicles With: SVT Performance Package: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the muffler and tailpipe assembly. Refer to: Muffler and Tailpipe .
1. Loosen the parking brake cable adjustment nut.
2. Push inward on the 2 tabs and detach the RH cable from the bracket.
3. Rotate the cable, slide the pin downwards and detach the cable from the equalizer.

Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

1. Remove the parking brake cable bracket nut.
  Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
2. Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt.
  Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolts.
Torque:

1.: 20 lb.ft (27.5 Nm)

2.: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Disconnect the parking brake cable from the actuation lever.

1. Detach the wheel speed sensor harness retainer and position the harness aside.
2. Push inward on the tabs and detach the cable from the bracket.
3. Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt and remove the RH parking brake cable.
  Torque: 20 lb.ft (27.5 Nm)
