Variable Camshaft Timing (VCT) Unit: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

NOTE: The exhaust and intake VCT units are not interchangeable. The exhaust VCT unit can be identified by the 3 allen head bolts on the face. The intake VCT unit has 4 torx head bolts.

NOTE: Do not tighten the bolts at this time. The bolts will be tightened during the timing chain installation procedure.

Install the VCT units and the bolts.
