  3. Using the special tool, install the engine. Use Special Service Tool: 300-OTC1819E 2, 200# Floor Crane, Fold Away.

  4. Align the torque converter stud marked during removal with the flexplate.

  17. Install and tighten the front lower stud bolt for the RH engine mount bracket.

    Torque: 46 lb.ft (63 Nm)

  18. Tighten the rear bolts for the RH engine mount bracket.

  19. Install the rear stud bolt and bolt for the LH engine mount bracket finger tight.

  20. Install and tighten the front lower bolt for the LH engine mount bracket.

    Install a new engine oil filter.

    Torque: Stage 1: 71 lb.in (8 Nm) | Stage 2: 180°

    • Install the B+ cable and the nut.

    • Position the protective cover.

    1. If equipped, install the ground wire and nut to the LH engine mount bracket stud bolt.

      Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

    2. If equipped, install the ground wire and bolt to the LH side of the engine block.

      Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

    1. Install the A/C compressor belt. Refer to: Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor Belt .
    2. Install the air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
    3. Install the air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .

  60. Install the upper radiator hose to the coolant tube. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer

  61. Install the degas bottle. Refer to: Degas Bottle .
  62. NOTE: Use the index-mark for location to aid in hood installation.

    Install the hood and the 4 nuts.

    Torque: 17 lb.ft (23 Nm)

    1. Connect the windshield washer hose couplings. Refer to: Washer Hose Coupling .
    2. Attach the windshield washer hose retainers.

    1. Install the underbody shield and the bolts.

      Torque: 46 lb.ft (63 Nm)

  71. Start and check the exhaust system for leaks.
  72. Use the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Misfire Monitor Profile Correction routine in the diagnostic scan tool.
