Fuel Lines: Removal

- Remove the fuel tank. Refer to: Fuel Tank .
- Remove LH Catalytic Converter. Refer to: Catalytic Converter LH .
- Disconnect the fuel line-to-fuel rail spring lock coupling. Refer to: SPRING LOCK COUPLINGS

- Detach the retainer clips.
- Remove the nuts and the heat shield.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Remove the nuts, bolts, push-pins and splash shield.
- Remove the nuts and the fuel tank deflector.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- If equipped. Release the retainers and remove the fuel line. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING .
