Gear Shift Position Sensor: Installation

- Clean the shift shaft.
- Position the gear shift position sensor magnet on the shift shaft, install the bolt.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Install the extension housing. Refer to: Extension Housing Gasket

NOTE: The orientation of the gear shift position sensor is important and can cause damage if installed incorrect.
Install the gear shift position sensor and the bolts.
- Connect the gear shift position sensor connector.
