Transmission Case: Assembly

  1. Clean the magnet.

  2. Clean and inspect the shift shaft bearings for damage. If damage is found, install a new transmission case.

  3. Using the special tools, install the output shaft bearing race. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 308-240 (T96P-7025-B) Installer, Mainshaft Bearing Cup.

  4. Using the special tools, install the rear output shaft bearing race. Use Special Service Tool: 205-153 (T80T-4000-W) Handle., 308-163 (T88C-77000-FH) Installer, Differential Bearing Cup.

  5. Install the guide plate and the bolt.

    Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
