Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation

Both sides:
- Inspect the ignition coil-on-plug assemblies for damage. Replace any damaged ignition coil-on-plugs. Replace any ignition coil-on-plug assemblies that have damaged seals or rubber boots.
Left side:

- Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
- Install the ignition coil-on-plug bolts.
Torque:
Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
Stage 2: 45°
- Slide the coil-on-plug electrical connector locking tabs into the engaged position to engage the connectors onto the coil-on-plug assemblies.
- Install the ignition coil-on-plug cover.
- Connect the crank case sensor connector and connect the PCV quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

Right side:

- Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
- Install the ignition coil-on-plug bolts.
Torque:
Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
Stage 2: 45°

- Connect the ignition coil-on plug electrical connectors.
- Slide the coil-on-plug electrical connector locking tabs into the engaged position to engage the connectors onto the coil-on-plug assemblies.
- Install the ignition coil-on-plug cover.

- Connect the quick connect coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
