Ignition Coil-On-Plug - Vehicles With: Race Track Pack: Installation

Both sides: 

1. Inspect the ignition coil-on-plug assemblies for damage. Replace any damaged ignition coil-on-plugs. Replace any ignition coil-on-plug assemblies that have damaged seals or rubber boots.

   Left side: 

2. 1. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
   2. Install the ignition coil-on-plug bolts.

      Torque:

      Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

      Stage 2: 45°

3. Slide the coil-on-plug electrical connector locking tabs into the engaged position to install the connectors onto the coil-on-plug assemblies.

4. Install the ignition coil-on-plug cover.

5. Connect the crank case sensor connector and connect the PCV quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

   Right side: 

6. 1. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
   2. Install the ignition coil-on-plug bolts.

      Torque:

      Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

      Stage 2: 45°

7. 1. Connect the ignition coil-on plug electrical connectors.
   2. Slide the coil-on-plug electrical connector locking tabs into the engaged position to install the connectors onto the coil-on-plug assemblies.

8. Install the ignition coil-on-plug cover.

9. If equipped: Install the bracket and tighten the fasteners.

   Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

10. Install the wiring harness straps and retainers.

11. • If equipped: Install the crankcase vent oil separator.
    • Connect the quick connect couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .

12. If equipped: Connect the clamp, reconnect the oil drain hose and install the fastener.

    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
