Transmission Control Module (TCM): Removal

Remove the RH front wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire
NOTE: Transmission control module programming is NOT necessary if the Transmission control module is being re-used.

Download the module information to the diagnostic tool using the Programmable Modules Installation routine.
Remove the retainers and the inner fender shield.

Disconnect the TCM and position the harness aside.

Remove the bolts and the TCM and TCM bracket.
Torque: Upper bolt : Nm Lower bolts : 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

Remove the bolts and the TCM.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
