Input Shaft Speed (ISS) Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - GT500 - Overview
- Remove the retainers and transmission heat shield.
Torque: Nut: 53 lb.in (6 Nm) Bolts: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Disconnect the ISS sensor and position the harness aside.

NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluids in a suitable container.
Remove the bolt and the ISS sensor.
Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)
- If reinstalling sensor. Clean and inspect the ISS sensor. Replace if necessary.
