Transmission Cooling - Overview

Transmission fluid flows from the transmission to an oil-to-air transmission fluid cooler. The transmission fluid cooler transfers heat from the transmission fluid to the ambient air. The cooled transmission fluid returns to the transmission fine filter in the transmission case and through the transmission. Transmission fluid cooler tubes transport the transmission fluid between the transmission and the transmission fluid cooler.
