Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
Drain the cooling system.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Torque: Stage 1: 97 lb.in (11 Nm) Stage 2: 15deg.

NOTE: Have the new component ready to install to reduce coolant loss.

Remove the ECT sensor.

Torque: Stage 1: 97 lb.in (11 Nm) Stage 2: 15deg.
