Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation

  1. Inspect the ignition coil-on-plug assembly for cracks, rips, or tears. Replace any damaged coil-on-plug assemblies.

    1. Install the ignition coil-on-plugs.
    2. Install the ignition coil-on-plug mounting bolts.

      Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

    1. Connect the wiring harness retainers Connect the ignition coil-on plug electrical connectors.
    2. Slide the locking tab cover towards the coil to lock connectors to coil.

  4. Install the engine appearance cover, then install and tighten the engine appearance cover retaining nuts and bolts.

    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
