Knock Sensor (KS): Removal

Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
1. Detach the KS electrical connectors retainers from the intake manifold.
2. Disconnect the KS electrical connectors.

NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.

Remove the bolts and the KS sensors.

Torque: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)
