Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor: Removal

NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the nuts and the engine appearance cover.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

- Disconnect the low pressure fuel sensor electrical connector.
- Detach the fuel supply tube retainer from the valve cover stud bolt.

NOTE: Before installation, lubricate the CMP sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
- Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connectors and remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.
Material: Engine Oil - SAE 5W-30 - Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-Q1SP (WSS-M2C946-B1)
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connectors and remove the retainer and the exhaust CMP sensor.
Material: Engine Oil - SAE 5W-30 - Synthetic Blend Motor Oil / XO-5W30-Q1SP (WSS-M2C946-B1)
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connectors and remove the retainer and the intake CMP sensor.
