  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    DISASSEMBLE the transfer case. CHECK the gears for wear or damage. REPAIR as necessary.

    Possible Sources 

    • Worn or damaged sun (input) gear, clutch pack (intermediate) gear or output shaft gear
