Pinpoint Test F: Central Configuration Faults

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCCM receives VID (vehicle identification) block configuration data from the BCM via the GWM over the FD-CAN. This data includes items like tire size, axle ratio, and other vehicle options.
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition TCCM U2300:54 Central Configuration: Missing Calibration The TCCM central configuration software has detected an internal data error. TCCM U2300:55 Central Configuration: Not Configured The TCCM central configuration software has detected an internal data error. TCCM U2300:56 Central Configuration: Invalid/Incompatible Configuration The TCCM central configuration software has detected an internal data error. TCCM U2300:64 Central Configuration: Signal Plausibility Failure The TCCM central configuration software has detected an internal data error. Possible Sources
- BCM faults
- TCCM
- F1 CHECK FOR BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) DTC (DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE)
- Enter the following diagnostic mode: BCM On Demand and CMDTC self-test.
Are any BCMDTC present?
Yes DIAGNOSE and REPAIR all DTC in the BCM. INSTALL a new BCM. Refer to the appropriate REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION procedure. No GO to F2 - F2 ATTEMPT TO CORRECT THE DATA ERROR
- Enter the following diagnostic mode: BCM Configuration.
- Ignition OFF.
- Ignition ON.
- Enter the following diagnostic mode: TCCM Clear and Retest CMDTC.
Is the U2300:xx DTC present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM, or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new TCCM. REFER to: Fuel System - Overview No The repair is complete.
