Pinpoint Test T: U300A:64

  1. DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 
    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    HUD U300A:64 Ignition Switch: Signal Plausibility Failure Sets in continuous memory when the HUD module detects a messaged start input for 15 seconds or longer. Once the fault condition is detected, the HUD module operates with limited functionality for 15 seconds then returns to full functionality.

    Possible Sources 

    • Ignition concern
    • Starting system concern
    • HUD module

  2. T1 RETRIEVE HUD (HEAD UP DISPLAY) MODULE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Ignition ON.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

    • Wait 10 seconds.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the HUD module self-test.

    Is U300A:64 recorded? 

    Yes  DIAGNOSE ignition concerns. REFER to: Steering Wheel and Column Electrical Components
    DIAGNOSE starting system concerns. REFER to the appropriate Starting System article.
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time.
