Adjustment
Male wedges adjustment
- Loosen the bolts to permit movement of the upper and lower wedges.NOTE: Upper wedge shown, lower wedge similar
- Close the sliding door 3 times to allow adjustment of the position of the wedges.NOTE: Upper wedge shown, lower wedge similar
- Tighten the lower bolt of the upper and lower wedge.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
NOTE: Upper wedge shown, lower wedge similar - Close the sliding door 3 times to allow adjustment of the position of the wedges.
- Tighten the upper bolt of the upper and lower wedge.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)
- Tighten the upper bolt of the upper and lower wedge.

- If door alignment is within specification, proceed to step 42
- If door alignment is not done properly, proceed to step 6
All alignments
- Remove the bolts and the striker assembly.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
Sliding door, upper roller alignments.
NOTE: For up and down movement -
- Loosen the nut.
- Use the torx head bolt to adjust the up and down movement of the door.
- Adjust the sliding door in up and down movement by using the torx head bolt.
- Tighten the nut to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
NOTE: For in and out movement - Loosen the nut enough to permit movement of the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door inward and outward movement.
- Tighten the nut to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 52 lb.ft (70 Nm)
NOTE: For fore and aft movement - Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door in fore and aft movement.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
Sliding door, center roller alignments.
NOTE: For up and down movement -
NOTE: Use extra-slim profile wrench.
Loosen the nut to adjust the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door in up and down movement using the adjustment bolt.

NOTE: Use extra-slim profile wrench.
Tighten the nut to fix the adjustment.

Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)
NOTE: For fore and aft movement - Loosen the bolts to adjust the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door in fore and aft movement.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (24 Nm)
NOTE: For in and out movement - Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door inward and outward movement.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
Sliding door, lower roller alignments.
NOTE: For in and out movementNOTE: Nuts must be fully loosened in-order to disengage the anti-rotation feature - Loosen the nuts to adjust the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door inward and outward movement.
- Tighten the nuts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
NOTE: For fore and aft movement - Loosen the bolts to adjust the sliding door.
- Adjust the sliding door in fore and aft movement.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 26 lb.ft (35 Nm)
Bump Stop Adjustment
NOTE: For in and out movement - Rotate and adjust the upper bump stop rubber.
- Rotate and adjust the lower bump stop rubber.
Rear striker Adjustment
- Install the rear striker. Do not tighten the bolts to permit movement of the striker assembly.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)
- Center the striker to the latch.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
Crash pin adjustment
- Loosen the bolts to permit movement of the crash pin.
- Slowly close the sliding door and observe where the crash pin is relative to sliding door.

- Adjust the crash pin to center of opening in sliding door.
- Tighten the bolts to fix the adjustment.
Torque: 97 lb.in (11 Nm)

- Tighten the lower bolt of the upper and lower wedge.

All alignments
- Tighten the upper bolt of the upper and lower wedge.
- Check the body to sliding door dimensions. Refer to: Body and Frame .
