Power Sliding Door (PSD) Initialization

Activation 

1. Ignition ON.
2. Verify the battery is fully charged.
3. Using a diagnostic scan tool, carry out the DTC self test. If any PSD module (DCMH) or other module Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present, diagnose and repair all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
4. NOTE: If the power sliding door is not closed, the power initialization procedure will not be completed. Make sure the power sliding door is fully closed and latched before performing the initialization.

   If the PSD is not already in the fully closed position, manually close and fully latch the PSD.

5. NOTE: If the PSD does not fully open during the initialization procedure, refer to Symptom Chart  to diagnose the inoperative PSD.
   NOTE: The PSD should close at normal speed during the initialization procedure. If the door closes at slower than normal speed, the power sliding door initialization procedure will not be completed. Repeat the initialization procedure.

   Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform the initialization procedure and follow the on screen steps.
