Washer Fluid Level Switch

The washer fluid level switch is a float type switch that is mounted in the washer fluid reservoir. The washer fluid level switch is hardwired to the IPC through a signal circuit and is grounded through a separate ground. The IPC provides a reference voltage to the washer fluid level switch. When the washer fluid level is full, the switch closes to ground, pulling the reference voltage low. When the washer fluid level is low, the float drops opening the circuit, sending the reference voltage high.
