Rear Brake Pads - Vehicles With: 2-Piston Brake Caliper: Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
- Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to: Wheel and Tire .
- Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator assembly and position aside.
- Remove the bleeder screw cap and detach the wear indicator sensor cable.
- Detach the wear indicator sensor cable from mounting bracket.
- Detach the wear indicator sensor.
- Remove both the guide pin bolt caps.

NOTE: Make sure that no load is placed on the brake hose.
Remove the 2 caliper bolts. Position the brake caliper aside.
Torque
: 23 lb.ft (31 Nm)

NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.NOTE: Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
Remove the brake pads.

NOTE: Note the position of the components before removal.
Remove the clips. Discard if installing new brake pads.
