Rear Brake Caliper Anchor Plate - 5 Ton Vehicle, Vehicles With: Drum-in-Hat: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the brake pads. Refer to: Brake Pads - 5 Ton Vehicle, Vehicles With: Drum-in-Hat .
Remove the guide pin bolt cap.

Remove the bolt and the brake caliper. Discard the bolt. Support the caliper using a mechanic wire and position aside the caliper assembly.
Torque

: 25 lb.ft (34 Nm)

NOTE: Discard the bolts.

NOTE: Make sure that new bolts are installed.

Remove the 2 bolts and the brake caliper anchor plate. Discard the bolts.

Torque

: 129 lb.ft (175 Nm)
