Three Passenger Bench Seat Cushion Cover - Crew Van: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: Three passenger bench seat with recline shown in illustration, all others similar.

Remove the three passenger bench seat. Refer to: Three Passenger Bench Seat .
Loosen the anchor bolts and position the seatbelts aside.
Torque

: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Position the backrest cover(s) aside.
1. If equipped, release the backrest cover straps.
2. If equipped, release the backrest cover J-clips.

Remove the seat cushion cover pin-type retainers.

NOTE: If equipped with child seat anchors, note the position of the seat cushion cover.

Release the J-clips and remove the seat cushion cover and foam as an assembly.

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Remove the seat cushion cover hog rings from the bottom of the seat foam.

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

NOTE: Use care when separating the seat cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strips or the hook-and-loop strips may be torn from the seat cushion foam.
1. Release the hook-and-loop strips.
2. Remove the hog rings.
3. Remove the seat cushion cover from the seat foam.
